Julie’s social entrepreneurial passion and love for dogs, the environment, and community building, led to the inspiration behind ALX Dog Walk.    She spent her career building do-good businesses including a marketing/communications consulting firm that promoted philanthropy, a company that helped engage kids in community service, and now the ALX Dog Walk.   She received her Masters in Public Communication Nonprofit Management from American University, and she frequently speaks and teaches on the topic of collaborations between the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to advance social causes.   As she likes to say, Bark on!
