At the ALX Dog Walk next April 5, 2025, we’re launching the first-ever Plastic Art Competition!  Cash Prize Awards!  First Place:  $1,000; Second Place: $500; Third Place: $250.

THE TWISTED FUN!  Artists are challenged to create a work of art using primarily reused plastic materials like bottles, caps, cups, bags, buttons, plastic fabrics, straws, and more.  To qualify, artists must be a resident of D.C., MD, or VA & 18 years or older, and photos of completed artwork must be submitted by 3/1/2025 to:  plasticart@alxdogwalk.com

Reps from ALX Dog Walk, Plastic Pollution Coalition, and Sustainability Matters will judge the works of art, and winners will be announced at the event.  Artists can host a free table at the event to showcase and sell their artwork.  For more info: plasticart@alxdogwalk.com | 703-717-3672
